Building a Culture of Peace Begins with Children

Curriculum for children and families providing creative ways of teaching and internalizing some of the "things that make for peace". Organized around the Pledge of Nonviolence developed by IPJ.
Description

Building a Culture of Peace is a unique resource that emerged from the Presbyterian Peacemaking Program.  It addresses powerful cultural forces, such as violence and consumerism, that make it difficult to learn and live as "peacemakers".  Through six sessions, it builds on the increasing cultural diversity in our society and encourages us all into becoming instruments in turning our de facto diversity into God's "beloved community".
