This is a place for you and other young people who are interested in
what you can do to prevent violence.
What is TAP?
It’s a dynamic program that teaches college, high school and middle
school students to be peace educators with elementary students. This national
youth violence prevention training program is actively "tapping"
the creativity and energy of the nation's young people to help build peaceful
schools and communities.
Explore these TAP webpages.
• If you’re
already involved with TAP, you can use this site to connect
with other young people who are using TAP in their communities and schools.
It’s a great site to get new ideas for your TAP presentations
and of ways to improve your TAP program.
• If you’re
not familiar with TAP, you can get ideas about
how to start TAP in your school or youth group and what resources
are available. Or maybe you’d just like to connect with some of
the great young people who have become active peacemakers through TAP.
Get involved! Help build our “tapping”
into a powerful sound for peace and nonviolence throughout the country.
